Web Development and Internet Radio Club (WDIRC)

WDIRC, is a group of technical enthusiasts consisting of web developers, designers and the coders who are actively involved in development and maintenance of web based services for MANIT, Bhopal.

Tapping onto the zeal of our young creative engineers to develop innovative applications, the web club was formed in 2011 under the able guidance and encouragement of Dr. Deepak Singh Tomar with the objective to provide a platform, equipped with latest facilities for the promising engineers of tomorrow to enrich and depict their designing and programming skills at sophomore level.

The club, since its official launch, has gained tremendous popularity among the students and has played a vital role in strengthening the relationship between hostellers and day scholars, seniors and juniors by launching website and several services to enhance connectivity and flow of information, exclusively for its students.

• Internet Radio for MANIT students : The interview of MANIT Alumni Mr Kamal Singh , Rolta Group and Mr. Manudev Jain Indian Railway Service, had been broadcasted through MANIT Internet Radio
• MANIT alumni web site has been developed and published through MANIT Domain
• Panorama view of Front/ Main Gate, Main Porch, Rolta Incubation Centre has been developed and published on Institute web site
• Video Streaming of 11^th Convocation had been published through you tube channel.
• The new web site has been developed by MANIT students under earn while learn scheme
• Video of MANIT Cross country race has been recorded and stream through MANIT web site

MANIT Internet Radio

The MANIT Internet Radio, is one of the most popular service launched as a project of WDIRC. Since its launch in 2011, it has been a constant hit and students are seen every evening, relaxing after a long day, glued on their computer screens and relishing the programmes featuring campus activities and faculty interviews. Students have special programmes devoted to the pass outs and current final years, among the other programmes featuring poetries and shayari’s. Through this project, WDIRC has provided a social networking platform, exclusively for its students to enhance connectivity and sense of belongingness with each other, while also promoting co-curricular activities and ensuring holistic development of its students by having media groups, RJ’s and content writers and managers for the radio team.
